What do you want to see?

It's the question I've been asked a lot this week. I wanted to look at the schedule to map out what I can see -- many tough decisions await me once I consult the grid, which I can download as a PDF this year rather than wait until opening night. Then I'll sit down with a pen and highlighter in full geek mode to see what is possible.

Until then, I made a wish list list based on the trailers, film guide and Festival Director Jed Dietz's favorites.

Dogtooth
La Pivellina
Putty Hill
Night Catches Us
Music by Prudence
Mars
12th & Delaware
The Oath
American Jihadist
Family Affair
Casino Jack and the United States of Money
Pidgeon: Impossible (animated, looks hilarious)
Cyrus
Mother and Child (closing night film)
Gabi on the Roof in July
Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness (with live accompaniment by the Alloy Orchestra)
Quick Gun Murugun
A Small Act
Tiny Furniture

Jen and I will try and see the following:

Friday @ 6:30pm - collection called "Funny People Shorts"

Saturday @ 2pm - "Tiny Furniture" - if sold out, then "American Jihadist" @ 4pm

Sunday @ 4:30pm - "Putty Hill" - if sold out, then "Dogtooth" @ 5pm.

Closing night film & party on Sunday night film, too.

I'm heading down to the MICA Brown center @ 7pm tomorrow night to buy the three per $20 tix for both of us, and 2 tix for the closing night.

That's about all I will be able to commit to now, as I am exhausted after the week and the semester.

Plus Saturday night I am hosting one of my Donovan fund screenings.

Oh - I'll drop by the CAMM event on Saturday afternoon, at Wind Up Space, as well.

Do you want me to blog anything for you, even with this limited schedule?

Let me know.

Cheers,

Chris Reed
